5 smoothie recipes – quick and easy

5 smoothie recipes – quick and easy

Hello! Do you like smoothies? It is a real trend nowadays and I enjoy these drinkable snacks or breakfast. I’ve decided to write down my 5 favourite combinations. Enjoy!

What smoothie is?

Smoothie is a beverage which is made from fruits or vegetables, nuts, seeds, it can contain water, milk, yogurt, protein, matcha, sweeteners such as honey, syrups and other additives. All of this is mixed together in a blender.

According to its ingredients, smoothies are considered very healthy. Smoothie’s consistency is similar to a milkshake.

The best way is to prepare smoothies by yourself – processed smoothies in shops might contain too much sugar, or additives to last longer and have better color. And of course, fresh smoothies are the best!

Recipes

Apple and grains

This one tastes like apple pie in a glass, but you won’t find 58 grams of protein in a slice of apple pie 🙂 Most blenders will be able to handle pulverizing an apple. Leave the skin on for extra phyto-nutrients.

  • 12 oz water, milk, or yogurt
  • 2 scoops vanilla flavored protein
  • 1 apple, core removed, and sliced into wedges
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 2 tbsp of almonds
  • ¼ cup of uncooked oats
  • Ice as needed
  • Cinnamon to taste

Peanut butter can be added anywhere. Try this delicious combination.

This one is very simple in ingredients, but taste it! It is one of the best I’ve ever tried. And the best is – it can satisfy your desire for ice cream and be healthy at once!
